Recycling cardboard and paper is one of the easiest and most effective ways of reducing our carbon footprint and producing new and viable materials. By reusing cardboard and paper we can save virgin forests and reduce our negative planetary impact. Real Waste Solutions can assist you in this respect, and this is how we do it.

Cardboard and paper waste is collected from your home or office on a regular basis, to suit your individual needs. This waste product is then transferred to our recycling facility to be reclaimed and turned into new products. Paper and cardboard are very easy to recycle and by recycling, rather than producing paper and cardboard from trees, we are able to reduce energy costs, water consumption and can produce a recyclable material that can be used over and over again.

What Types of Paper and Cardboard Can Be Recycled?

Almost anything including the following:

• Any plain or coloured office or photocopying paper
• All envelopes, even if they have a window face
• Filing supplies including folders and dividers
• Junk mail including glossy brochures, newspapers and other advertising material.
• Magazines
• Outdated telephone book and any printed documents.
• Shredded paper in any form is also acceptable for recycling

 
We can’t recycle certain types of paper and cardboard particularly those which spring back into shape when “scrunched”, namely:

• Food wrappings, waxed paper or cardboard
• Flimsy paper material such as paper toweling or tissue paper
• Any cardboard which has attached metal or plastic parts, such as Lever Arch files

 
Real Waste Solutions offers you the convenience of being able to recycle your paper and cardboard waste on site by providing office bins into which you can deposit waste paper and which are collected on a regular basis. We provide Australian Standard coloured coded bins to ensure you’re making the best possible use of your recycled paper and cardboard.

Real Waste Solutions can offer under desk cardboard boxes to hold recycled paper in the office as well as a range of different bin sizes for use internally and externally.

After collecting your recycled product, Real Waste Solutions takes it to the recovery centre where it can be sorted, accumulated with other like products and sent to be recycled into new paper and cardboard products.
